About me
Hello, my name is Denise Burt and I am a graphic artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I design mostly for art, music and culture. I love to work with artists to create a visual and physical experience for their work. I also love to put my own mark on a project with elements of original photography and illustration. And I love to teach too.
I am originally from New Zealand, was educated at the Elam School of Fine Arts in Auckland, spent 6 years in London making (amongst other things) film posters and have been living and designing in Copenhagen since 2000.
I have been working for the art music scene in Denmark for the last 10 years (or so) and I have seen it start to accept graphic design as a fun and important part of developing new audiences for contemporary music. The environment is full of artistic and passionate people who I feel privileged to work with.
I currently work at Republikken, a creative community in the heart of the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen.
