Composer and artist Evan Ziporyn created a tribute to the late David Bowie, transforming his final album, Blackstar, into a cello concerto for avant-garde cellist Maya Beiser, backed by the Ambient Orchestra with musicians from Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Originally perfomed with a spectacle of light and projection, I recreated some of the original concert graphics for the album artwork.
