Client: Bang on a Can

LOUD Weekend is a three-day festival of fully-loaded minimal, experimental and electronic music held annually at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) starting in August 2019. Among the myriad of events for the first festival were performances by the Sun Ra Arkestra, Dither, Horse Lords, Pamela Z, music by Brian Eno, Hans Abrahamsen, Annie Gosfield, Julius Eastman, a screening of the silent film Dracula with live music by Philip Glass, the Bang on a Can All Stars and two “sittings” of Peter Maxwell Davies’ 8 Songs For A Mad King.

The logo was designed to work on posters, banners, adverstising, tickets, merchandise and on stage.
